The BIXOLON XD3-40t is a 4-inch (118 mm) entry-level Thermal Transfer Desktop Label Printer, delivering reliable performance, versatile media handling, and flexible connectivity at a competitive price. Designed for industries such as Logistics, Warehousing, Retail, Healthcare, and Education, the XD3-40t is an ideal choice for medium-volume labeling tasks, including inventory tracking, asset labeling, wristbands, price labeling, and pharmacy management.
With print speeds up to 5 ips (127 mm/sec) at 203 dpi, this printer ensures clear and high-quality labels, tags, and wristbands. It supports both 1/2-inch and 1-inch ribbon cores, allowing compatibility with 74 m to 300 m ribbons, including BIXOLON’s B-ribbon™ Wax, Wax-Resin, and Resin ribbons.
The XD3-40t offers standard USB connectivity, with optional Serial and Ethernet interfaces for networked environments. Maintenance is simple and efficient, thanks to the toolless replacement of the print head and platen roller.
Featuring BIXOLON’s signature easy media loading design, adjustable paper guides, optional peeler, and support for external paper holders (up to Ø205 mm), the XD3-40t provides all the tools needed for dependable and efficient label printing.
It also supports stand-alone configuration via LED indicators and is compatible with market-standard languages such as SLCS, BPL-Z™, and BPL-E™. Software tools include Label Artist-II™, Windows/Linux SDKs, and drivers for Windows, Linux, and macOS
