The ADVISION AD-HDW1800RP-4K is a 4K indoor dome camera designed for professional surveillance applications that require high-resolution imaging and flexible integration. With a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 and a 2.8mm wide-angle lens, it captures detailed footage across large indoor spaces, making it suitable for retail stores, offices, warehouses, and residential monitoring. The camera’s multi-format output and Smart IR night vision ensure reliable performance in a wide range of installations .

4K Ultra HD Clarity

The camera’s 1/2.7-inch CMOS sensor delivers a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 (4K), providing four times the detail of standard 1080p cameras . This higher resolution allows for clearer identification of faces, objects, and activity details in recorded footage, which is essential for security investigations and evidence collection. The progressive scanning system ensures smooth, artifact-free images.

Wide-Angle 2.8mm Lens

The fixed 2.8mm lens offers a wide field of view, with a diagonal angle of approximately 125 degrees, horizontal angle of 105 degrees, and vertical angle of 56 degrees . This wide coverage makes it possible to monitor a large room or area with a single camera, reducing the number of units needed for comprehensive surveillance. A 3.6mm lens option is also available for applications requiring a narrower field of view .

Multi-Format Compatibility

The camera supports switchable video formats including CVI, TVI, AHD, and CVBS, allowing it to integrate with a wide range of existing DVR systems . Whether you are upgrading an older analog setup or installing a new HD system, this camera adapts to your infrastructure without requiring additional converters. The CVBS mode provides 960H resolution for legacy systems, while CVI, TVI, and AHD modes support the full 4K capability.

Smart IR Night Vision

Equipped with 12 infrared LEDs and Smart IR technology, the camera provides night vision up to 20 meters . Smart IR automatically adjusts the intensity of the IR illumination based on the distance of objects in the scene, preventing overexposure when subjects move closer to the lens. This ensures consistent, usable black-and-white footage throughout the night, whether monitoring an entryway or a large open space.

Built for Indoor Environments

The camera carries an IP50 rating, indicating protection against dust ingress but not water, making it suitable for protected indoor environments such as retail interiors, office corridors, and covered areas . It operates on 12V±30% DC power, providing tolerance for minor voltage fluctuations in standard surveillance power systems. The dome form factor offers a discreet appearance that blends into ceiling installations.

Ideal Use Cases

This camera is well-suited for retail stores requiring high-resolution coverage of customer areas and checkout zones, office buildings needing detailed monitoring of corridors and reception areas, warehouses and storage facilities where wide-angle coverage and night vision are essential, residential indoor monitoring for entryways and living spaces, and any indoor environment where a flexible, high-resolution camera is needed.
